waywt

What are you wearing today? A process I've grown semi-obsessed with for a while now partially due to the fact that I'm a fashion forum junkie as well as because of my passion for photography. It's a wonderful retrospective tool in terms of keeping track of personal growth and style since I've been taking such pics for well over a year. Looking back on past pics, I sometime feel awkward considering how different I've looked at times. It's also comforting to see that I've still retained alot of the personal aspects of my style.

Previously, the process was used to just merely show what I had on that day. Taking the pic was reduced to a simple mirror pic or a pic inside my room/dorm. It became bland pretty quick and I found myself actively keeping an eye out for lush scenery, exciting backgrounds, and good lighting. It's also helped me improve in my photography seeing as how I mainly delve in portrait/people photos as opposed to solely objects and scenery. Even when I eventually decide that I'm tired with forums and such, I feel like I'll still have my head in "waywt" mood when I see different settings and locations. Sure, this whole thing may seem really wierd and awkward to people not directly involved in this niche of fashion amidst the digital realm, especially to those who may stumble on me setting my timer, then standing in place for 10 seconds. Still, it's all in all a personal process.
