waywt

What are you wearing today? A process I've grown semi-obsessed with for a while now partially due to the fact that I'm a fashion forum junkie as well as because of my passion for photography. It's a wonderful retrospective tool in terms of keeping track of personal growth and style since I've been taking such pics for well over a year. Looking back on past pics, I sometime feel awkward considering how different I've looked at times. It's also comforting to see that I've still retained alot of the personal aspects of my style.

Previously, the process was used to just merely show what I had on that day. Taking the pic was reduced to a simple mirror pic or a pic inside my room/dorm. It became bland pretty quick and I found myself actively keeping an eye out for lush scenery, exciting backgrounds, and good lighting. It's also helped me improve in my photography seeing as how I mainly delve in portrait/people photos as opposed to solely objects and scenery. Even when I eventually decide that I'm tired with forums and such, I feel like I'll still have my head in "waywt" mood when I see different settings and locations. Sure, this whole thing may seem really wierd and awkward to people not directly involved in this niche of fashion amidst the digital realm, especially to those who may stumble on me setting my timer, then standing in place for 10 seconds. Still, it's all in all a personal process.

rpgs....sigh

I used to be a huuuuge RPG fanatic before I suddenly felt the urge to stop heavily playing videogames years ago. Now with summer being mostly an absolute drag, I've found myself twiddling away at analog sticks every night out of sheer boredom playing tony hawk. Well I saw KH2 yesterday for about 17 bucks and decided to scoop it up.

I played for 10 hours straight until about 4:30am. Someone help me........

desire

Hot damn this pic (courtesy of uparmoured) makes me boil with jealousy. The day shall come when I can squeeze enough dough out of my pocket for some visvims. Funny story with the white logan mids. I ask the big dude from Union one day why they only had the black and brown elk pairs. He says that at the time of ordering they thought the whites were the wackest color and didn't order any. They didn't know that those would cause the most uproar online. Actually fuck it, I NEED these more than anything.

I'm also completely infatuated with skate decks, especially old school ones that you only see adorning the upper walls of equally legit skate shops. With Mark Gonzalez being one of my favorite skaters and favorite characters really, his artwork both on skate decks and t-shirts has caught my eye quite a bit lately. Browsing through SLB one day I looked up to see a pristine Vision deck from his early 90's sponsorship. I'm now on the prowl for a REAL deck seeing as how a vision deck would be an impossibility.

Badass I tell ya. I am lucky enough to own this shirt though thanks to my good friend Matty. What better combo? Supreme and Gonz! Genius with the rip from the OG blind logo.

SuFu

Oh by the way, I'm found on a few forums since I have nothing better to do with most of my time. One particular forum, Superfuture, has become my digital abode of sorts. With a rather diverse although simultaneously narrow range of interests and fashion subcultures along with a healthy myriad of "waywt" posters, myself included, I find quite a bit of my oh so precious time spent browsing its white, grey, and green columns and boxes. Plus....glorious e-peen. Here's mine

lazines

I just love how wonderfully commited I am to this blog considering it's my second post ever in many months. I've got nothing to do all summer besides enjoy life so why not keep track in a blog. I'm to wake up tomorow for the earliest time ever of 9am to trek to LA to work an odd job painting an office. Sweet.

These New Zealanders known as FLight of the Conchords have been taking over my stereo as of late. Just my kind of simple dry ass humor. If you ever see me I'll probably be quoting a song lyric completely out of context. If I've got my guitar in tow, except totally azn renditions of their tunes.
Supreme's recent tees were a decent batch with DENY EVERYTHING and MILES as the new favorites according to decisive forum surveys done by.....me. I'm a major supreme nerd as alot of my friends know but all I've been thinking about is wanting to skate the fucking bowl.

I promise to update more.
